Join us to celebrate The Festival of Steam on Saturday 16 – Sunday 17 May with a weekend packed with live entertainment, great food and relaxed outdoor vibes during the Festival of Steam 2026 as Thirlmere plays host to the biggest event in the Shire!
Whats on for the weekend:
Saturday
The outdoor bar opens from 8:30am.
Live music from Rock Masons from 4pm-7pm to set the tone for a laid back afternoon with friends, drinks and good atmosphere.
Sunday is Family Day
A full day out for all ages. Enjoy free family friendly activities including kids lawn games and face painting. The outdoor bar is open from 8:30am, with the BBQ firing from 12pm. Live music from Hoochie Mama from 12pm - 4pm.
A weekend designed for easy afternoons, great company and something for everyone.
